Distro, podcast, label, and compilation update

Copies of Special Interests #7 now in stock. Finnish import. In this issue: Fumio Kosakai, Dave Phillips, Jason Crumer, Encephalophonic, Cult of Youth, Phage Tapes, Christian Stadsgaard, Klaus Hansen, noise documentaries. Essentials: Con-Dom, Wertham, Dieter Muh.

I also have restocks of issues #4 through #6, plus one remaining copy of #3. All of these and more available in the webstore.

Podcast #12 should be online tomorrow, Thursday at the latest. Interview is being conducted tonight, very excited about this one.

Watch this space or the soundcloud page to catch it when it goes up.

Winters In Osaka - Red Passage: The Cassette Years Discography Part 1 C75 should be out by the end of April at the very latest. Another release or two in the pipelines, nothing concrete as of yet.

Submissions for the second Absurd Exposition free online compilation have been pouring in at a steady rate since I made the call out last week on Facebook. While it is nearly full already, I am still seeking out a couple noise tracks, so if there's anything you'd like to submit, please do so.

Guidelines for submission:

- must be a Canadian band/artist
- track does not have to be exclusive to this compilation
- track length must not be much longer than 5 minutes
- track must be in lossless format (WAV/FLAC/ALAC/AIFF) -- no MP3s!
- send to absurd.exposition [[[at]]] gmail ]]]dot[[[ com

I am also in need of someone who wants to do artwork for this volume! Please get in touch.

Check out Volume One here.
