THE ENDLESS BLOCKADE - final tape now in stock.

The final tape from Toronto's THE ENDLESS BLOCKADE is now in stock.

Now you can all send me your money instead of weekly "is this in yet?" emails.

This is the only place you can get it in Canada. 20 Buck Spin will soon have them for US folks. The rest of the world may order from me or 20 Buck Spin, take your pick.

"Last ever release for The Endless Blockade, an 11 minute cassette of the only recording of the final line up of Bloomer, Carroll, Edgar, King and Nolan. Recorded in our practice space the week before we dissolved the band this cassette represents the set list we played at pretty much every show in 2010; though it lacks the extended noise and closing song of either Do Not Resuscitate or Qabalistic Zero."

Twitch of the Death Nerve. 2011. Survivalist.

Other recent distro additions from Black Banana Records:
AHNA LP (repress with new art)
WAKE THE MACHINES / OCKSEN 7"

Podcast #12 - with guest Howard Bloom

Absurd Exposition Podcast #12 with special guest Howard Bloom.

Howard Bloom is the founder of the Space Development Steering Committee, a former visiting scholar to NYU’s Graduate Psychology Department, author of several books; The Lucifer Principle: A Scientific Expedition Into the Forces of History, Global Brain: The Evolution of Mass Mind From The Big Bang to the 21st Century, and The Genius of the Beast: A Radical re-Vision of Capitalism, his list of credentials goes on.

On this program, Howard talks about finding your passions in life at a young age, sticking with them, and achieving goals you had for those passions while you are still young. He also talks a fair amount about space: what it can do for us, why we as humans need to get there, what’s preventing us from doing so, why the private sector appears to be the answer, and what average people like you and I can do to further its cause.

Submissions for the second Absurd Exposition free online compilation have been pouring in at a steady rate since I made the call out last week on Facebook. While it is nearly full already, I am still seeking out a couple noise tracks, so if there's anything you'd like to submit, please do so.
